WOLVES HOME ED SESSIONS
Wolves netball started when some home educated girls decided they'd like to play netball. We borrowed some bibs, bought some cones and off we went with very humble beginnings but with a great team spirit from the start.
Petra, one of the mums, undertook England Netball coach training and the Wolves played netball come rain or shine!
The Wolves name was chosen by the original players.
Wolves remains home ed, though the sister club, Lockleaze Foxes which originated from Wolves members desiring to play more netball, is open to all.
Five years later both groups are going strong and have grown considerably from the initial days where we used to borrow brothers to make up numbers!

Wolves Sessions
for girls aged 12-17
take place on Fridays 1:30-2:30pm and are coached by Petra.
The team is such a lovely bunch! Super friendly and welcoming!
Sessions are fun and offer a great introduction to netball in an inclusive environment. It's all about being part of a team and being valued for exactly who you are (whilst enjoying netball!)
We aim to have some socials as well as play netball.
This group is entirely non-competitive, apart from the traditional end of season parents vs children :)

Fun fact: We raised the money to replace our vandalised hoops by baking and litter picking the streets of Lockleaze!
